Turtle Beach

The superb beach 7 kms long,is safe for bathing and is the home of the Mediterranean Caretta Caretta turtle.Access to the beach is either by the frequent local buses which takes 15 mins or by one of the regular public boats from the river quayside in the centre of Dalyan.The river journey is totally relaxing and takes 35 mins and is an absolute delight as the boats meander downstream to the beach throught spectacular scenery.Both types of local transport are fun and inexpensive.Turtle Beach is a protected beach and only, limited development is at either end where refreshment, toilets and sunbeds are available.
